Today, I went to a birthday party for a kid turning four. He’s my favorite kid ever and super awesome. Anyway, one of the people there was standing a few feet from me while we were all outside in the backyard and I just randomly looked over to her and she had her phone’s camera very awkwardly angled directly at me and I look directly at it, confused. She immediately made a small smile and turned away and walked towards her kid.
I have been self-conscious all day since that happened because my conclusion is that she thought I am funny looking and wanted to take a picture to share with her friends and make fun of me. I could obviously be wrong about all of this, and I probably am, but it just bugs me that I immediately came to that conclusion and it’s the one that stuck with me.
I’m usually super self-confident and very “IDGAF” about what others think of me but I do have my low moments. I think I was just caught off-guard.
I’m trying to figure this out. Did the person just so enthusiastically slam their face into the butt cheek, with mouth open, hard enough to cause this imprint? Like, how excited was this person to just slam their fucking face into a butt cheek? All I can think of is a really funny scenario of someone thinking, “FUCK YES! BUTT! RAM MY HEAD INTO IT! WOOHOO MOTHERFUCKERS!”
